I'm a young professional who has a passion for science! I graduated from UAB in 2009 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. Straight out of college I landed a job as a research assistant for the US Department of Energy at the Savannah River National Lab. My research focus was on alternative biofuels made from algae.
