My name is Karen D., and I recently moved to California from New York City. I was an elementary school teacher for seventeen years in Brooklyn, New York. June 28, 2016 was my last day before I embarked on a new life here in beautiful Los Angeles. My school for all seventeen teaching years was P.S. 10 in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I taught pre-k, kindergarten, first grade, and third grade. Before I became a certified teacher and got hired, I substitute taught at P.S. 10 for 6 months (pre-k to 5th)
