I am a veteran teacher with 15 years of teaching experience. I spent the last 18 years teaching in the DC/MD region before relocating back home to Houston in 2013. I have taught elementary and middle school over my career. I even taught two years in a special education school as the Restricted Mobility teacher. For most of my educational career, I have focused on ELA (reading). I saw there was great need for reading instruction and so became intentional in my teaching and focused on reading. Fo
