I recently resigned from teaching to dedicate more time with my own children. My teaching certification is in Middle School Math grades (5-9). One of the biggest challenges I faced teaching during the "adolescent period" is students do not make school a priority. It is the reality of life, unfortunately. I enjoy teaching Math because it's a subject I've loved since I was in elementary school. I also had good math teachers growing up and I can say that having a good Math teacher makes a diff
