I have a bachelor's degree in Telecommunication/Journalism from Michigan State University. Immediately after graduation I worked in TV and news radio, but soon after moving to L.A. I switched over from news writing to entertainment writing, and worked on sitcoms like "The Parkers" and "That's So Raven." However, the years I did not work on a show, I always relied on my teaching experience, specializing in English. I began working for LAUSD as a substitute teacher, using my emergency credentia
