Too often, students get stuck on a concept that inhibits advancement. Before long the the student disengages emotionally from the class, making further learning in the discipline difficult and frustrating for everyone involved. We all have individual learning styles, and as a tutor, I take the time to understand the child's needs and the style most conducive to his learning needs.
