My love of teaching runs tandem with my interest in mentorship. I have been tutoring and mentoring junior writers for over ten years, and have been writing professionally for almost fifteen. I graduated with Distinction from the University of Glasgow with an MFA in Creative Writing, and from there taught AP and Honors and Language and Composition at BASIS, a renowned college preparatory charter school based in Arizona. My students carried a 97% pass rate, with most earning scores of 4's and 5's.
