I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors of Science and a Elementary minor. Upon graduation I was not able to find a teaching position out of college. I did however, spend a few years as a substitute teacher. I started a new career path when I got hired to work for the State of Michigan as an eligibility specialist. It was during this experience I was able to combine my teaching knowledge with my life skills coaching passion to help reach older members of the community. I
