I am currently a PhD student at the University of Florida in the Department of Horticultural Sciences, and am on merit-based fellowship. I received my MS from the University of Arkansas in Horticulture, and my BS from the University of California, Davis in Plant Sciences. When I was an undergraduate student, I often found it difficult to concentrate in 400+ student classes, where I never felt comfortable asking questions or requesting for help. As I moved on to higher level undergraduate courses
