I earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with honors at James Madison University in Virginia. While at JMU I TA'd a variety of chemistry labs and tutored for the athletics center in both math and science. I also received a few honors acknowledging my research toward improved antimicrobial materials. These honors include the Palocssay award in undergraduate chemistry research, the Jefffrey Tickle fellowship for summer research, and the Phi Beta Kappa award for best senior honors thesis.
